My friends ..Do you have a desire to improve your English ?? would you like to form accurate statements and to be perfect in grammar ?? if your answer is yes , so the only thing that you should do is to register in our splendid school for teaching Grammar . Your registration needs a nominal fee which is about 100 fils , don't care , i'm kidding .


Anyway , i'm going to provide you with grammatical lessons , so i will start with the basic topics . Each lesson will be explained in a simple way , then it will be followed by some drills which need your serious efforts . And now let's start with the first lesson .

singular = pronouns :

Plural = pronouns

my brother al manhal i've put your great points in my consideration.....
About the answers : i 've decided to dedicate a period of time so the other members could take their chance in order to answer any drill .

about the cheating : i 'll leave this to the person and his honesty . so you should write your own answer with out looking at your friend's answer .

about the easiest : i've said it in my previous participation , ( i'll start with the basic topics )....

about the length : do you think our lesson will take more than five minutes in reading ??? i don't think so .

about arabic : i'll try to write some arabic but not now because our lesson doesn't need any arabic , coz it's soooo easy to understand even for the beginners .

anyway , i really appreciate your care about this forum .

I've got an idea for you Walaea. . . .
To Make This Quiz more interested.
We can make it multiplechoice quiz in flashplayer.
Ten questions each one has four answers and only one is correct
And in the end everyone will see his mark present in the same flashplayer.
We can also change these questions easy every week or so.
Well, leave this technic for me i can make the flash loading text file
with all the questions with out changing anything in the program.
It will look like (who win the million) but no prizes.
The real prize is to get knowledge.
If anybody will cheat , he will be cheating himself.
So everybody can challenge his information.
But if you want to make this quiz as a contest.
There is a solution , everyone can send you his result saying that
question number 1 the correct answer is (A) for example and so on
But in this case i shouldn't show the results in the flashplayer to each one and you will be in charge to mark everyone.
It looks like i made it harder than what it should be.
Anyway if you like my idea i can start right away . . . .

Articles:

A or An... They have the same meaning, because they precede.... indefinite singular nouns.

A or An معناها واحد , حيث انها تسبق الاْسماء المفردة النكرة .

Example :
1- A book .
2- An egg.

An:
precedes the singular nouns which start with a vowel .. .. A , E, I , O , U .
An .... تسبق الاسماء المفردة المبتدئة بأحد الحروف المتحركة الاتية ( حروف العلة )...A, E, I , O , U.

Example:
1- An apple.
2- An egg.

A
precedes the singular noun which doesn't start with any vowel.
A....تسبق الاسم المفرد الذي لا يبدأ بأي حرف من حروف العلة .
ُExample :
1- A girl .
2- A cat .

The:
It's used to indicate to the definite and it precedes the singular and plural ,even if it is a masculine or a feminine.
The ...تستعمل للدلالة على المعرفة وتسبق الاسم المفرد والجمع سواء مذكر أو مؤنث .
Example :
1- The schools.
2- The school.
3- The teacher .
4- The teachers.

notes :
we don't use( The) in the following cases :
* أسماء الجمع النكرة مثل : Boys - Girls
*الاسماء المعنوية مثل : الجبن cowardice , الشجاعة courage , الجمال beauty .
* الاسماء التي تدل على مواد مثل الماء water , الخشب wood .
* لا تستعمل A or an مع أسماء المدن مثل Cairo .

but i will say few as my time doesnt help me at all to write much ,,

This time im gonna talk only about the most 3 famous prepostiaons

which are ( AT / ON / IN )...

-We use them in both TIME AND PLACE,,

A) TIME ...

-We use (AT) for the time of day:
at 5 o'clock - at 11.45 - at midnight - at lunchtime .. etc

- We use (ON) for days and dates:
on Friday/ Fridays - on 12 March 1991 - on my bithday .. etc

- We use (IN) for longer periods, e.g (months/years/seasons):
in October - in 1982 - in the winter - in the 18th century ..etc

*** SOME NOTES ***

-We use AT in these expressaions normally,,
at night - at weekend - at the moment - at present

- We also say ,,
in the morning - in the afternoon - in the evening

**BUT,,
on Friday morining - on Sunday afternoon - on Monday evening

### IMPORTANT ###
We do not use AT/IN/ON before LAST / NEXT / THIS / EVERY
E.g; I'll see you next Friday. ( not on next Friday)
